Prepare for Your Korean Lash Lift
A little preparation and proper aftercare can make all the difference. Follow these guidelines before and after your Korean Lash Lift at Sinta Skin Studio to help protect the health of your natural lashes and get the most from your results.
Please review this guide before your appointment and refer back to it afterward whenever you need a refresher.
Before Your Korean Lash Lift
2–3 Days Before
-
Avoid waterproof mascara for at least 2–3 days before your appointment, as it can leave behind residue that may interfere with your lash lift.
-
Keep your natural lashes clean and avoid excessive buildup from mascara, lash glue, or eye products.
-
If you currently have lash extensions, they must be completely removed before your appointment.
24–48 Hours Before
-
Avoid oil-heavy products directly on or around your lashes when possible.
-
Avoid rubbing, picking, or excessively curling your natural lashes.
-
Avoid treatments that may leave the eye area irritated or sensitive.
-
Do not use a lash curler immediately before your appointment.
If you use a prescription product or medication around the eye area, please let your lash artist know. Do not discontinue prescription medication without first consulting the healthcare professional who prescribed it.
The Day of Your Appointment
Please arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes and eyes.
For the best treatment experience:
-
Do not wear mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, strip lashes, or lash glue to your appointment.
-
Avoid applying oils or heavy creams directly around the lashes.
-
If you wear contact lenses, please bring a case so they can be removed if needed during your service.
-
Consider limiting caffeine before your appointment if it tends to make your eyes flutter or makes it difficult for you to relax.
Your eyes will remain closed throughout most of the service, so this is the perfect time to settle in, relax, and enjoy your Sinta ritual. 🤍

After Your Korean Lash Lift
Your freshly lifted lashes need a little extra care while they settle into their new shape.
The First 24–48 Hours
Unless your lash artist gives you different instructions:
-
Keep your lashes dry and avoid prolonged exposure to water.
-
Avoid excessive steam, saunas, and very hot showers.
-
Avoid heavy sweating directly around the eye area.
-
Avoid mascara and eye makeup for the first 24 hours.
-
Do not rub, pull, or pick at your lashes.
-
Avoid using a lash curler.
-
Try not to sleep directly on your lashes.
-
Gently brush your lashes into place using a clean lash brush as needed.
Treat your lashes gently during this initial period to help maintain their shape.
Caring for Your Lash Lift
After the First 24–48 Hours
Once your initial aftercare period is complete, you can return to most of your normal routine.
To keep your lashes looking their best:
-
Gently cleanse your lashes and eye area daily.
-
Brush your lashes into place with a clean lash brush.
-
Avoid aggressively rubbing your eyes.
-
Use caution with waterproof mascara, as frequent removal can place unnecessary stress on your natural lashes.
-
Avoid repeatedly using a mechanical lash curler on lifted lashes.
-
Keep your lashes conditioned with a nourishing lash serum.
Condition Your Lashes
Just like the hair on your head, your lashes benefit from regular conditioning.
We recommend applying a nourishing lash conditioning serum consistently to help keep your natural lashes feeling soft, hydrated, and healthy between appointments.
Ask us about our recommended Lash Conditioning Serum at your next visit.
What to Expect
Your Korean Lash Lift is customized to your natural lashes and eye shape, so everyone's results will look a little different.
Immediately after your appointment, your lashes may appear especially lifted or defined. They typically soften slightly as they settle.
Results generally last approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle, home care, lifestyle, and individual lashes.
As your natural lashes grow and shed, your lift will gradually grow out with them.
When Can I Wear Mascara?
We recommend waiting at least 24 hours after your Korean Lash Lift before applying mascara unless your lash artist instructs you otherwise.
When you do wear mascara, remove it gently and avoid excessive rubbing or pulling.
For everyday wear, a non-waterproof formula is generally easier to remove and gentler on lifted lashes.
When Should I Book My Next Lash Lift?
Most guests return approximately every 6–8 weeks.
Your natural lashes need time to complete their growth cycle between services, so we don't recommend scheduling lash lifts too close together.
Your lash artist can recommend the best timing based on the condition and growth of your natural lashes.
When to Contact Us
A little temporary sensitivity can occur around the eye area, but significant or worsening discomfort is not something you should ignore.

-
Significant or worsening redness
-
Swelling
-
Persistent burning or discomfort

-
Eye irritation that does not improve
For significant eye pain, vision changes, severe swelling, difficulty breathing, or other urgent symptoms, seek appropriate medical care promptly.
